Activities:

Currently, I am a member in the ICDT-Council (International Conference on Database Theory), publicity co-chair for the IEEE Symposium on Logic in Computer Science (LICS), and head of the advisory board of Bundeswettbewerb Informatik. Since June 2005, I am a member of the Young Academy, a joint project of Germany's two oldest academies, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften – BBAW) and the German Academy of Natural Scientists Leopoldina (Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina).
